We are an interdisciplinary atelier of artists and architects specialized in architectural fine imaging. We are artists, enthusiastic in exploring and expressing artistic qualities of light in architectural environment. We are architects, who understand technical and functional design concepts.
Imaging Atelier has its origin in former Studio Toni Yli-Suvanto’s work on professional visualisation in London 2001 - 2007, and its close working relationship with many award winning architects. During this period, diverse imaging techniques were developed to match the requirements of international architectural companies.
Imaging Atelier was established on this foundation in 2007, with greater production capability and technical capacity, reinforced artistic skills and ambition.
Toni Yli-Suvanto graduated as an architect from the Swiss Federal Institute of Architecture ETH in 1999, and worked a few years thereafter in architectural offices in London, before establishing his own practice. He is also keen practitioner of visual arts and digital photography, the subjects which he studied along his architectural education.
Toni Yli-Suvanto is closely involved in all imaging work of the Atelier, particularly focusing on artistic directing and the quality of light and atmosphere. On technical matters the Atelier is assisted by Toni Yli-Suvanto Arkkitehdit Oy operating in the same premises.
